Snoline

Snoline was set up in 1955 with the aim of finding a new, easy way to produce long-lasting road markings. This resulted in the “preformed tape” that today accounts for about 50% of the company’s turnover.
HR International exclusively represents Snoline Equipment internationally.

The mission of Snoline is to improve safety on the roads and, to this end, other types of road marking and safety products have also been developed. These include plastic and rubber products for lane separators, warnings for drivers and passive safety devices that reduce the consequences of impact with fixed obstacles.

This has been made possible thanks to great efforts in design and research, using inhouse skills and experience and with the assistance of external designers and Universities. As a result, Snoline has numerous international patents, having involved customers, experts and users to define the safety needs – often latent – and to find the most suitable solutions in terms of both technology and cost.

Snoline has always been an international concern, technical contacts and sales activities alike, with the foreign market accounting for at least 40% of all sales.
Thus, directly or via laying contractors, Snoline has helped improve the road markings in major cities such as Milan, Rome and Paris. It has made motorway construction sites safer in Germany, France and the UK and supplied “instant” roads with the installation of long-lasting inlay markings immediately after the application of the tarmac on the Italian network of motorways run by the company Autostrade per l'Italia.

Moreover, Snoline has definitely helped save the lives of innumerable people thanks to its crash barriers installed on motorways and other roads in Italy, France, Scandinavia and other European and non-European countries.
