ESSE is a hard wearing preformed elastoplastic tape for permanent road marking. Ideal for permanent markings in urban hazardous areas where, for safety purposes, maximum antiskid is required. ESSE is recommended for pedestrian crossings, symbols, stop lines, legends and so on.
ESSE consists of an elastomer and mineral filler mixture with high wear resistance, containing high quantity of specially hard anti-skid particles.
ESSE comes in two versions: standard, for bonding with liquid adhesives, and self-adhesive (ESSE-A).
Characteristics
- Thickness: not less than 1,7 mm
- Color Luminance ß: not less than a 0,60 white.
- Color Luminance ß: not less than a 0,40 yellow.
- Skid resistance: not less than a 45 SRT units, in wet conditions (measured with TRL pendulum), white and yellow.
- Durability: should not be less than 36 months
