ATSM V-71500

ATSM V70000 Series Translucent Films are durable and dimensionally stable. They are designed for use on window graphic applications and on internally illuminated signs. They have uniform color in both reflected and transmitted light and have low gloss to eliminate glare from the sun.

These films are intended for application to butyrate, polycarbonate, fiberglass, flat acrylic and glass substrates. They can be applied to either the interior or exterior surface of any of these substrates. Flexible sign faces vary and must be tested by customer. ATSM translucent films have optimal cutting, weeding, lifting and transfer properties when used with all automated vinyl letter cutting machines.

performance

When properly processed and exposed vertically, five to seven year performance may be expected. All performance statements are based upon field experience and exposure tests. Performance will be affected by substrate selection and preparation, exposure conditions and maintenance of the markings. In the case of south facing signs in areas of long, high temperature and maximum sunny days, such as the Southeastern area of the U.S., exterior performance will be decreased.

shelf life

Films have a shelf life of one year. Films and markings must be stored in a clean environment, free from direct sunlight, excessive moisture with temperatures of 100ºF or less. Minimum application temperature 60ºF (16ºC).
